세계 최초 선급 인증 3D 프린팅 선박 프로펠러

대한민국 대전의 3D프린팅 전문 기업 에이엠솔루션즈(AM Solutions)는 네덜란드 RAMLAB과의 파트너십을 통해 Arc Wire DED 분야에서 협력하고 있습니다.
 

RAMLAB은 Autodesk, Damen Shipyards Group, Promarin, Bureau Veritas와 공동개발을 통해 세계 최초의 선급 인증 3D 프린팅 선박용 프로펠러를 성공적으로 제작하였습니다.

이 혁신적인 프로펠러는 니켈 알루미늄 청동 합금으로 제작되었으며, Arc Wire DED 기술을 활용해 총 298개의 층으로 신속히 제작되었습니다.

선박 Stan Tug 1606에 장착되어 실제 해상 테스트를 완료했으며, 성능면에서 기존 주조 방식과 동일한 수준을 입증받았습니다. 해양 부품 제조에 있어 적층 제조 기술의 가능성을 제시한 사례로 평가받고 있습니다.

Arc wire DED 기술은 대형 금속 부품 제작에 용이하며, 재료 낭비를 최소화하고, 제작 기간을 수주 → 수일로 단축하는 획기적인 생산 방식입니다.

World’s First Class-Approved 3D Printed Ship Propeller

AM Solutions, a metal 3D printing specialist based in Daejeon, South Korea, is collaborating with the Netherlands’ RAMLAB in the field of Arc Wire DED technology.

RAMLAB, in joint development with Autodesk, Damen Shipyards Group, Promarin, and Bureau Veritas, successfully produced the world’s first class-certified 3D printed ship propeller.

This groundbreaking propeller, made from nickel aluminum bronze alloy, was manufactured using Arc Wire DED technology with a total of 298 layers. It was installed on a Stan Tug 1606 vessel and successfully completed real-world sea trials, demonstrating performance equivalent to that of conventionally cast propellers. This achievement highlights the potential of additive manufacturing for marine component production.

Arc Wire DED technology is ideal for producing large-scale metal parts. It minimizes material waste and drastically reduces production time from weeks to just a few days — a revolutionary advancement in manufacturing.
